Everything was great, the parking was on-site, the room was fairly quiet. The service was absolutely exceptional. Had no problem using their small parking, the internet was free. The location was particularly good - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

Location near public transport, other scenic sites, and a trade fair or other event at the Olma fair grounds. Also, right next to the Olma Messen bus stops...

A commendable fit for short visits in St Gallen with value for money. The hotel was recently renovated, very clean, and comfortable. Be prepared for some noise if your room faces the main street.

Nice balcony! Friendly Staff!
Non-smoking room smelled like smoking, old plastic furniture, a bit noisy room

Very friendly staff; Close to city center
Room toward the main street is very noisy. No air condition: on a hot day you either sweat and cannot sleep or you have the window open and cannot sleep due to the noise

I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the personal touch from the owner, Christian. He offered helpful suggestions about local attractions. My room was a cozy standard double with a spacious balcony overlooking the hotel. The cleanliness was great, and the bathroom felt modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with delicious local products. The noise from Jacobstrasse could be a bit disruptive at times. The lack of window shades meant early morning light woke me sooner than I would have liked. I appreciated the unique charm of this family-owned hotel, but a few adjustments could enhance the experience even further.

Spacious room, very comfortable bedding
Triple room was insulated from the next room by a single not sound-insulated door, which made privacy near impossible. Breakfast correct but could make an effort

One of the woman worker at the front desk was wonderful. Thank you.
Heater did not work so much and it was cold in the room. also there was no blanket. In the breakfast room window should be cleaned. TV and bed side table are unit, but they should change, there need no TV perhaps.

A cozy family-owned gem
Christian warmly welcomed me and took my bags to the room. The breakfast was good-fresh and local-perfect to start my day exploring St Gallen.
I found the noise from Jacobstrasse a bit disruptive in the early hours. While it didn't ruin my stay, it did affect my sleep quality.

Really good customer service and engaging local hosts.
Despite the warm hospitality, my room faced significant noise from Jacobstrasse which disrupted my sleep. The absence of air conditioning was especially uncomfortable during the warmer nights. The lack of a proper bed arrangement, with two single beds not held together.

Proximity to public transport hubs, spacious rooms, engaging local hosts
The absence of air conditioning is a real downside during hotter weather!!! Plus, the limited options for in-room entertainment could really use some improvement!!! Lastly, the traffic noise at night can be quite disruptive!!!

What a fantastic stay! The spacious room was clean, and the bathroom was beautiful. I loved the good breakfast spread, but could've used more window shades for a better night’s sleep.

Warm and cute hospitality
Their assistance with local tips and even an early check-in was very nice. The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast selection was good with an array of fresh options. I wish there were more shades for the windows, as the morning light came in quite early.
